๐ŸŽฎ Basic Controls

Use number keys 1-4 or the mouse scroll wheel to switch between tools. You can also open your backpack (Tab) and drag tools to the quick bar. Controller users can use the D-Pad to switch.

Here's how to extend your dive time:

  1. Upgrade your oxygen tank: Spend gold at the shop โ€” each level significantly boosts capacity
  2. Reduce unnecessary movement: Plan your dive route, don't wander back and forth
  3. Use the booster: The booster lets you move faster, saving oxygen on travel
  4. Watch your depth: Deeper zones drain oxygen faster โ€” know your limits

Upgrade the oxygen tank to at least Lv.2 during Chapter 1 for a much better experience.

When your backpack is full, prioritize:

  • Drop the lowest-value fish first (Butterflyfish 60G, Sea Urchin 40G)
  • Keep high-value fish (Tuna 500G, Marlin 650G, etc.)
  • Quest-required fish take priority (check your current quest log)
  • You can upgrade backpack capacity in the late game

๐ŸŸ Fishing & Guide Questions

Pufferfish inflate when attacked and become uncapturable once inflated. The correct approach:

  1. Use an upgraded harpoon gun (at least Lv.3) for a one-hit kill
  2. Or use the tranquilizer gun to sedate it first, then capture
  3. Approach slowly โ€” don't startle it

Pufferfish appear during the day in the shallow coral reef. Price: 150G. Pufferfish Sashimi sells for 800G โ€” well worth mastering this catch!

The Oarfish appears in mid waters (80-130m), night only. Its body is extremely long (5m+), requiring 4-5 consecutive hits to capture. Use an advanced harpoon gun + booster. It swims in a wave pattern โ€” attack when it turns. Sells for 800G.

The Giant Squid is one of the toughest creatures in the game. Prepare thoroughly:

  • Harpoon gun at max level
  • Diving suit at least Lv.3
  • Bring at least 3 Med Kits
  • Oxygen tank at max level (or close to it)
  • Tactic: Attack tentacles until they retract โ†’ target the head weak spot

If it's still too hard, advance the main story to unlock better gear first.

For 100% completion, you need to:

  1. Cover all time slots: Some fish only appear during day or night โ€” dive at both times
  2. Cover all depths: Shallow โ†’ Mid โ†’ Deep, each zone has unique species
  3. Legendary fish: The Sea Dragon requires 80%+ guide completion before it spawns
  4. Photo-only fish: Sea Turtle, Beluga Whale, Whale Shark โ€” cannot be attacked, must be photographed
  5. Special areas: Polar Waters, shipwreck interior, and other special stages have unique fish

๐Ÿฃ Restaurant Management

Core money-making strategy:

  1. Upgrade harpoon โ†’ catch expensive fish โ†’ make expensive sushi (positive feedback loop)
  2. Run the farm: Grow rice, nori, wasabi yourself โ€” saves 50% on ingredient costs
  3. Hire Elnino: His advanced recipes double your selling prices
  4. Focus on VIPs: VIP customers spend 2-3x more than regular guests
  5. Menu strategy: 2 high-profit + 2 popular + 1 steady dish

Late-game daily income can reach 15000-20000G.

Recommended upgrade priority:

  1. Harpoon damage (top priority) โ€” determines what size fish you can catch
  2. Oxygen tank capacity โ€” longer dives = more fish = more gold
  3. Backpack capacity โ€” bring home more fish per dive
  4. Diving suit โ€” safer encounters with dangerous creatures
  5. Kitchen equipment โ€” faster cooking speed
  6. Shop seating โ€” serve more customers

Based on your shop size:

  • Small (3-5 seats): 1 chef (Bancho) + 1 server (Maki)
  • Medium (5-8 seats): 1 chef (Elnino) + 1 server (Dmitri)
  • Large (8-12 seats): 2 chefs (Elnino + Sato) + 1 server (Dmitri) + 1 backup (Sean)

Note: staff have fatigue โ€” working too many consecutive days reduces efficiency.

Ratings are affected by:

  • Dish quality: Use advanced recipes and high-quality ingredients
  • Service speed: Faster serving = higher rating
  • Ambiance: Renovations improve base rating
  • VIP service: Impressing VIPs significantly boosts ratings
  • Menu variety: Having a diverse menu also helps

To reach the highest rating, develop all aspects evenly โ€” don't neglect any one area.

๐Ÿ“‹ Quest & Progression

If you can't find the next objective:

  1. Check your quest log: Open the menu and read the current quest description
  2. Talk to NPCs: Visit the sushi bar, dock, research institute โ€” exhaust all dialogue
  3. Check dive depth: Some quests require diving to a specific depth to trigger
  4. Check time of day: Some story events only trigger at specific times (day/night)
  5. See the guide: Check the Main Quest Walkthrough for details

Most side quests are not permanently missable. Even after advancing the main story, you can return to complete previous side quests. A few time-sensitive ones (like holiday events) may disappear after progressing too far. It's recommended to clear side quests before finishing each chapter. See the Side Quests page for trigger conditions.

Yes, the Beluga quest is part of the Chapter 2 main storyline and cannot be skipped. Completing it unlocks the Polar Waters area and the farm system. Note: the Beluga cannot be attacked โ€” you must photograph it with your camera. Keep a safe distance and don't disturb it.

Yes! The game continues after the credits roll. You can:

  • Complete 100% fish guide collection
  • Upgrade the sushi bar to maximum level
  • Unlock all hidden recipes and staff
  • Explore new areas that were inaccessible before
  • Finish any remaining side quests

Completing the main story is just the end of one chapter โ€” there's still plenty of content for collectors and completionists.
